Treating the patient as a whole person, rather than simply treating the problem.
Dr. Crook has been practicing medicine for 30 years. Dr. Crook is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Physicians with this type of training are called Physiatrists. This depth of expertise allows him to assess and treat patients with a wide variety of conditions from sore muscles to spinal cord injuries.
Physiatrists treat conditions of the bones, muscles, joints, brain, and nervous system, which can affect other systems of the body and limit a person’s ability to function.
What People Are Saying?
As a patient of Dr Crook's since August, 2000, I am more than happy to share my experience with him and his staff. I find Dr Crook to be easily approachable, thorough and comprehensive. No question is left unanswered, no appointment is ever hurried and I know when I leave his office every aspect of my wellness has been considered regardless of why I made an appointment. Further, communication with his office is timely and efficient to the extent I could not ask for better. I have recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so in the future.

I was referred to Dr Crook by my dentist for a diagnosis of TMJ. He helped me navigate the dental/medical maze to find out I had the wrong diagnosis. During the journey I discovered one of the most thorough holistic physicians I have ever met. Dr Crook looked at me as a whole person and advised me toward wellness through his vast knowledge of supplements as well as his physical evaluation and manipulation techniques. This is a very rare specialist who will push you to care for yourself and assist you with his knowledge and skills in order to reach your maximum potential. Now I often refer patients to this unique musculoskeletal expert.

As a patient of Dr. Crooks for the past 15 years, I have found his combination of medical, manual therapy, and physical rehabilitation to be the most effective and efficient approach to treating back pain. His practice offers quality time with “hands on” gentle manual therapy techniques based on visceral and osteopathic mobilization. Therapeutic functional exercise, nutrition, and supplement guidance to support a healthy back and lifestyle. Medical intervention utilizing prescription medications, trigger point injections, and diagnostic testing (xray, MRI’s ect.) if needed.
